Bachelor of Applied Science in Technical Leadership, B.A.S.

The Technical Leadership BAS program offers a seamless pathway to a bachelor’s degree for graduates of A.A.S. technical or “career” degree programs. This bachelor’s degree completion program builds on the technical expertise you’ve gained through associate degree coursework. The Technical Leadership program courses provide the knowledge and skills necessary to assume leadership and supervisory roles in workgroups and project teams - skills necessary for career advancement in a rapidly changing, globalized workplace in critical employment need areas such as business communication and collaboration, leading distributed teams and workgroups, project management, intercultural communication, workplace diversity, staff training, development and more. Students may enter this program directly from their associate degree program or as a returning student. Students may complete as full-time or part-time students.

Offered through Bloomsburg University’s Department of Instructional Technology, the Technical Leadership program also offers a unique industry connection with an active professional advisory board.
