The application for the J. Bernard Schmidt Scholarship for students enrolled in programs at Dixon University Center (DUC) for the summer 2018 semester (classes held between May - August 2018) is now available on our website: www.dixonuniversitycenter.org/scholarship-opportunities. The last possible date to submit an application, two reference forms, and a copy of an official transcript is August 1, 2018.

Millersville University Summer Institute - Personalized Learning in the English Laguage Development Classroom
Millersville University is offering their Summer Institute in Personalized Learning in the English Language Development Classroom at Dixon University Center July 16 - 20, 2018.
Millersville Summer Institutes provide educators and administrators with quality instruction, knowledgeable speakers and faculty and strategies/techniques to take back to the classroom. Institutes for educators are offered in an intensive one week-long format.
Scheduled in the summer, Institutes typically run Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for a total of 37.5 contact hours. Pre - and post-assignments are required of all institute participants.
Our teacher institutes offer 3 graduate credits and 90 ACT 48 hours. Graduate credits can be applied toward a master’s degree in an appropriate graduate program at Millersville University. Please check with your advisor to ensure credits can be applied toward your graduate degree. Click here for more details.
