Elizabethtown College has been offering degree programs at the Dixon University Center since 1959. Our accelerated degree programs for adult learners provide the greatest flexibility possible so that you can fit school into your busy life. Classes are five weeks long and provide a mix of in-class and online course options. Your first step in learning about Elizabethtown College is to attend an information session at Dixon University Center, or to meet individually with an admissions counselor. We will give you an overview of the accelerated adult degree programs available. We can assess your transfer credits, as well as work experience that can be evaluated for academic credit, and provide you with a preliminary evaluation for credit into a degree program. Financial aid is available to adult learners in the accelerated program. If your employer provides tuition reimbursement, you may elect to participate in our tuition deferment program which defers payment following each session for 30 days. Elizabethtown College offers the Master’s in Business Administration program.The MBA curriculum is designed to provide working adults with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to advance into leadership roles in their companies and communities. A mix of accounting, finance, marketing, information systems, economics, ethics and leadership courses will challenge students to synthesize and integrate their learning into the real-world business environment. This kind of practical application of learning is a hallmark of adult education and provides valuable benefits to both the individual student and the business community. The MBA program will be delivered in six, eight-week sessions each year. Students who take continuous classes can graduate in two years if they have an undergraduate degree in business. The program will offer a mix of classroom-based, internet-based and weekend immersion classes, providing flexibility and varied learning experiences. The minimum criteria for entry in the MBA program: The first step is to meet with an admissions counselor who will explain the program, its format and answer any questions you may have.
