Higher Education, Ed.D.

The Immaculata hybrid, cohort-based Doctor of Education in Higher Education, Ed.D., inspires and equips strong, insightful, ethical and dedicated administrative and faculty leaders in higher education. Over the four-year program, our students grow personally and professionally through rigorous knowledge building, dedicated skill development, and strong research training. Our students are engaged scholar practitioners who apply learning to their workplaces from the first day of class.

Students have the opportunity to further hone their skills in a field experience at Immaculata or one of our local colleges or universities where they conduct projects that apply their learning and stretch their expertise. Field experiences include areas such as academic leadership, teaching, curriculum development, faculty development, institutional research, enrollment management, and marketing and recruitment.
