The Millersville University Department of Nursing offers three levels of nursing programs -- RN to BSN (both online and campus-based options), MSN with tracks in Nursing Education and Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner, and the Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Our focus is on enhancing the professional journey of our students, by recognizing their unique life situations and work experiences. We endeavor to work with each of our students to create an individualized academic plan that best meets the student's needs.
Millersville University and Shippensburg University have partnered to strategically develop a new Ed.D in Educational Leadership. The main focus of this four year, 62 credit program is on poverty and digital learning. The goal of this cohort driven program is to provide school leaders with a chance to advance their current knowledge and skills, as well as to develop programs that help children to realize their full academic potential. Accepted candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside both Millersville and Shippensburg faculty, practicing experts in the field, and District Level Mentors.
Classes, in this program, will be a unique blend of face to face and online structure to respect the lives of our working professional candidates.
Upon completion of this program, along with field experience and exam requirements, our candidates will be eligible for the Superintendent’s Letter in PA!
